    Force 50 adding an Ebay Tilt system

    Power tilt mechanism install - '85 Force 50 HP (507X5A)

    I bought a Tilt system on Ebay, and I am wondering if anyone can give any advice on how to install this thing. <br /><br />From what I can tell, I am going to have to remove the engine, to get to the nut that secures the vertical king pin.<br /><br />Any advice would be appreciated.<br /><br />Dave.

    '85 Force 50 no power

    My 1985 Force 50 has no power. It will idle, but if I try and throttle up, it dies instantly. If I let it idle, it will start to miss, and then "pop" through the exhaust and stop spinning instantly. It's not as it is if the key shuts the engine off and it slowly spins down, but it "pops" and...
