Noticed today that my bayliner with mercruiser inboard started making a ticking sound. Sounds like a manifold leak on a car. Did not affect the performance of boat but this is not a normal noise. It makes the ticking noise at idle and at all speeds. Any ideas?
My jet ski was running fine then one day while running at full speed the RPMs dropped about 1000. Did this off and on for about five minutes. Seemed to clear up but now I can't get over 4500 RPM. Any ideas? I thought it may have fouled a plug but not checked yet.
