    HP and displacement

    Just wondering about how some engines are heavier and have a larger displacement than some smaller ones, yet have the same HP. Whats the deal? Are they both going to be the same HP really? What are you losing with the smaller one?

    Anyone have a Nissan or Tohatsu 9.8?

    I have been looking mostly at Yamahas, Johnsons, and Mercs for a kicker motor lately but ran across Tohatsus online for very cheap and a lot lighter than the others. They were the same price as the others are at dealers, but a lot cheaper online. Anyways, just wondering if anyone has the 9.8 4...
