    What's the year of my spirit 25dt outboard motor?

    Not sure of the year of this motor I have , it's a spirit , which I guess is a old suzuki outboard , it has a plate on the clamp which number 2501 then a space then D-13180, if anyone could help me tell the year of it that be great ?

    Spirit dt25 outboard

    I bought a spirit dt25 for 50$ , runs excellent , but needs new ignition switch , and not sure of year , old owner I got it from didn't now much about it either as he bought it at yard sale , numbers I seen on it were on plate on the clamp to clamp it to boat , had number 2501 then had D-13180...
