    62 merc 1000 reverse locking cam orientation

    I did not take a picture prior to removal and am looking for the proper position of the lower cam in relation to the gear it is in. My manual is a couple of years newer and it appears different. My guess is that in forward the ramp would be at its lowest position to unlock the motor? Thanks, Chris

    62 Sea King 5 water pump lower housing

    While resealing my lower unit I managed to break the housing beneath the water pump impeller while attempting to remove the old seal. Really made my day when I looked up housing on OMC site and it is obsolete. Looking for a used housing?? Thanks, Chris
