    I've been wondering the same question myself. Sitting for 6 months, condensation, I'm not sure. The valley above the cam looks clean. Head gaskets looked fine but I didn't thoroughly inspect, just a glance at them. At this point I'm pretty much just reusing the heads, intake, carb...

    So a search of 7395 cam pulls up one from summit.

    I can feel it when I run finger on lobe.

    So pulled cam. There is slight pitting. I think I'm gonna get a new cam and lifters.

    Thanks. I haven't moved the lifters yet. Gonna pull them keeping them in order and in same orientation (towards center line of block). Clean cam as u stated and check for pitting. I'll be pulling the cam this weekend. Post pics when I do.

    I have not removed the lifters yet. I don't know the stock compression. I've been trying to find all the paperwork that came with it but no luck
