I have 2 motors - one is a 1975 merc 650 3-cyl that’s all good except with a bad trigger. The other is a 1990 merc 600 3-cyl with dead compression but good distributor-less ignition/timing/trigger
Can the entirety of the ignition and timing be swapped from the 1990 to the 1975? Seems feasible...
