    1976 70hp johnson lost ignition KEY

    I just bought this motor and I have been so busy changing parts that I never realized I do not have a key for the control box. Can I get a replacement key from a John/rude dealer or am I going to have to get a whole new switch?

    Just bought it. Has anybody used the composite props you can change pitch on. 150.00 @ boatus. Should I go this way or should I start with 15' or 17' or 19'. Its going on my 17ft mfg fiberglassic. Any insight is helpful. Brian

    If you had to chose between a 1988 evinrude 50hp twin and a 1976 johnson 70hp 3cyl which would you buy and why. I have a 17ft MFG. Pretty light boat. I want to be able to pull a tube will the 50hp do it? PLease give me suggestions.
