Hey folks,
I picked up a used stainless prop for a steal and would like to run it on my 84 Mercruiser Alpha One 3.0.
Currently, I have an Aluminum 14x19 Torque Flow hub style prop.
The stainless prop is a Viper #174814 14.5x19.
My main question is: What is the proper thrust washer to run...
I'm not much of a winter weather fan anyway, but when I glance outside and see my boat setting there, I really want summertime to be here!

Ok, so I just got back from the last trip on the water until next season and I'm pretty sure that the gimbal bearing is bad in my 3.0 Alpha one.
You can hear a rumbling sort of sound that resonates throughout the hull and it sounds like......well it sounds like a rough bearing in a car to me...
I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone on this board that offers their experience and knowledge.
I'm new to I/O boat ownership and this forum has been one of the most valuable resources I have found.
I'm a pretty fair mechanic, but there seems to be a good bit of difference...
