I've installed many heads but never the Vortec heads as this engine has. I have the heads installed and torqued down and just going to install the valve rockers. Is it like the older heads...
When I looked up your engine with the serial number this is the schematic that came up. Looks like you have the 5 point drain system.

Pull the two plugs on the block, two plugs on each manifold and the one plug on the Circ. hose. All the plugs should be blue in color and twist out by hand.
