    Merc 175 efi starter solenoid and fuse

    If the solenoid or fuse go bad will it crank at all? I didn't know if it could be "going bad" or once it does that's it. And does either one affect the trim? Mine would not crank or trim but I wiggled the solenoid and it worked. Wires looked clean and tight.

    Fished all day no problems. Went to load the boat and no power, wouldn't turn over and trim not working. I changed batteries no luck.
