    Boat skipping or missing when at 1500 rpm to 3000 rpm

    I have a outboard sterndrive 3.0L and the boat idle pretty good but when i go forward to 1500 rpm too 3000 rpm the motor skips or misses and jerks i tried to adjust the fuel mixture but no luck is there anything else i can do thanks.

    OMC ignition coil getting real hot

    Hi guys i have a OMC sterndrive 3.0L and when running the engine for a while the coil is really hot and when i put my voltage meter on the positve and negative it shows -3.7 when i have the on but engine not started can you let me know what you think it is thanks
