After installing a tiny tac, my bayliner capri 19' with a force 125 and 15 pitch prop was reading a max of 6600 rpm WOT and going about 33 MPG (GPS). Does that seem right? I had a couple of people on the boat (450 lbs). Idle it was reading 800 rpm.
I'm new to boating. I have read some of the threads on trim/tilt. I have issue swith the engine not staying up but slowly coming down. (1) When operating the boat, how do I trim the engine? I have a tilt switch for up/down on the dash. Should I be able to us that switch to trim the engine...
Just purchased a bayliner 1900 with an outboard Force 125 HP. Took it out to the lake and it with two adults it got up to 35 MPH. When we had 5 people and tried to pull a tube it would only go 10 MPH. Tried to do a compression test and the reading on all 4 cylinders was around 60 PSI each...
