    1991 merc 140 horse issues starting

    Hey all...I have a 1991 140 horse mercruiser I/o. Problem is it start fine when cold but if take it to the lake and run it..shut it off do a drift and go to restart it it won't start. I have to hold the throttle all the way open for it to start? What would cause this..the fuel pump I replaced...
