    Crownline 206LS prop change

    2005 crownline 206ls, 4.3 (fuel injected 220hp) takes forever to get on plane. Looking for help from prop. alpha 1 gen2, gear ratio 1.62, 14x20p 4 blade mercury alpha prop, wot 4800, rpm prior to plane 3000, top speed 48 (gps), length 21’, 3600lbs. Thanks for advice.

    merc carb overflow connector

    The carb in the photo is a merc 2bbl off a 3.0L mercruiser (1990). Is the over flow connector in the yellow circle a check valve? Mine is partially clog. It passes air both ways but there is a blockage. I don't know whether it needs to be clean or if I need a new one. Thanks.

    grey hose on trim and tilt

    I have a mercruiser alpha 1 3.0L. I have replaced both the gray and the black hose from the pump to the distribution block. I dont remember where the gray and black connect on the pump. does the grey go on the left port as i am stand in the boat looking at the stern?
