    Outboard controls for Mariner 40 hp Magnum

    Ok so I have learned tht the Neutral safety switch is bad in the control box. I have replaced the switch. However, it now seems that I am not able to put the control lever into neutral position. When I turn over the motor, it appears the prop either turns in reverse or neutral. Help?
