    Motor problem

    I was out on the river all day yesterday and my motor ran like a champ. I put in this morning and was unable to get it into forward gear, however neutral and reverse worked fine. Any suggestions on whats wrong and how to fix it? The year is 1966 and its a 33 horse Johnson electric start.

    Hi. I have a 14 ft Lund rated for a 35hp. I just put a 1966 33 hp Super Seahorse on it and am unimpressed with a gps 21 mph speed.
