I have a 2008 mercury 3.5 hp outboard (longshaft) on a 9.4 dinghy. Took it out this weekend - started right away and ran great for 30 minutes. I stopped for a bit and shut the engine down. I had a very hard time starting it again. Plenty of gas left. Once I finally got it running...
