I have a 2010 optimax currently it is reading rpms higher than they are. I know this is correct as I have proped the boat to mercury test straight off there website with a 13.75 X 15p 3blade black max....... the optimax has a revlimiter that will literally shut the engine down if it goes over...
I just bought a used 2010 bentley. Everything works great. I just noticed a slight miss/sputter at 2k rpms to 3k rpms. My tach is wrong, and until I got it, it was proped wrong. I noticed the sputter before I changed the propeller. At anything over trolling or 1/3 throttle i get no sputters...
just bought a used pontoon bentely elite encore with the 115 opti max......... it feels sluggish and not performing well at all. It is spinning a 13.25 x 17p prop........ I looked on mercury website and it tested a 2008 bentely with the 115 with a 13.75 X 15 p gets it up to 29mph...

Okay, first I am new so bear with me. Looking for used pontoon boat. Found a 2008 bentley 240 with 90 on back........... 50 hrs on boat, on owner very well kept. Asking 15780. Deal or not? We are taking it out on a test run tomorrow any advice?
