    I've got an Evinrude Lightwin. The model # is 3502A with a serial # of 35485. What year is this motor and what horsepower. A lady was throwing it out and I took it. Soaked carb and it runs good.

    1994 Force 40hp timing

    I put the new stator on my motor and it started right up. Now I want to set the timing. It was tuned up with the old stator and might not have the right timing set. The timing at idle is 10 deg. Should I set the timing at higher speed? And what deg should it be?
