    1974 Mercury 500 Thunderbolt manual tilt not working

    '74 thunderbolt 500 manual tilt will not work. Can anyone post a repair or owner's manual? Tried in forward gear, unfreezing the main hinge tube, pressed "dog ear" looking things, need to take it step by step to determine the issue. Thanks.
