    Briggs 5 hp outboard governor spring?

    I have a 5 hp briggs outboard I just rebuilt. Does the governor have a spring or does it have an adjustment? My throttle does not go back. If it has a spring where does it hook up too? Or if there is an adjustment how do I go about adjusting it so the throttle snaps back? Thank you

    Briggs not going into reverse

    I have a 5 hp briggs and it grinds when put into reverse running. Will go into Netural and Forward Any help on what to do.
