    1979 OMC I/O bogging down

    Hello, I have a 1979 OMC I/O Boat.. It idles fine, but whenever I give it gas, it bogs down. I have a new Carburetor, when I give it gas, I can see both jets giving it gas (2GC Carb.) so I don't believe that is it. But I can't think what else it could be. Any ideas?

    OMC 2.5 engine, Rochestor 2GC carburetor, starts but won't idle.

    Hi, I have an OMC 2.5 engine, Rochestor 2GC carburetor that will start if I give it a lot of gas, but it won't idle. I can keep it running by pumping the gas, but as soon as I back off it will die... any hints on what I can do? Thanks!
