Quick inspection of my Yamaha 50HP 4 Stroke 1997 outboard revealed a loose prop. It slides in and out on the shaft at least 1/8 inch. If I tighten the nut the cotter pin may not catch the nut correctly as the nut will turn in much further. Is there a washer/bearing behind the prop that wears out??
