    Steering cable - 73 Crestliner with OMC 225hp i/o - 19.5'

    I need to replace the steering cable for my Crestliner crusader which is 19.5' in length but can't find what length of cable I need. Most parts dealer diagrams don't clarify. Anyone have any ideas how to confirm length without taking out the old cable first?

    1973 Crestliner with OMC 225hp - Major electrical issues

    Had the boat out this week. A bare wire must have hit the steering cable from the dash. Whole electrical fryed to the instument panel and may need to replace steering cable. Probably going to rewire the entire boat since the wiring is vintage 73. Anyone know where to get full wiring diagrams?

    Tilt drive won't move

    Have a 1973 OMC 225 I/O. Have replaced solinoids and tilt motor. Titl Switch is good, had it tested and when I check other electrical items like lights, radio, blowers run so it makes me think my fuses are okay. solinoids click, I can hear motor. I think I have exhausted everthing but the...
