I am looking at changing out my motor. 1986 OMC 2.5l with an OMC Cobra Outdrive, My question is what is compatable with my outdrive, I would like to get rid of my OMC motor, it has a possible head crack or cracked block. Anyone got any advice?
I currently have a 1986 2.5l OMC that is getting water in the oil. I am wondering what engines would be an easy change out for this incase I find a crack in the block. 3.0l OMC, Merc 120, Merc 140? Any ideas
