Neutral Switch

1990 120HP force outboard. Last season we noticed that our outboard would start in gear. It is a safety concern, it was a huge suprise when the boat jumped forward.

We replaced "the switch" that the marine store gave us but it still starts in gear.

Any...

Does anyone still make a good, BIG trihull?

We have a 1977 boat whose hull seems to be a cross between a tri-hull and a deep-V. It rides well, a little bumpier than a V, but when stopped the boat is great. Four guys on one side and the boat only tilts a little bit.

Does anyone still make a 18-21 foot, large, tri-hull boat...

"Wet Transom"-How worried Should I be?

We have a 1978 Angler. We recently drilled into transom and wood inside was a little damp. Transom (whole boat) seems very solid and Mech who installed new outboard last year said he saw no problems. Wood itself looked good and screws went in very tight.

Is the wood being a little...

    Storage Ideas

I have a 1978 19' Angler that sits at a mooring all summer. We would like to leave some gear on the boat (handheld VHF/jump-start backup battery, etc) but are afraid it will be stolen. Nearby boats have had similar problems in the past.

Any suggestions for small, mountable and...

1978 Johnson: Stop and go Tilt/Trim

The trim tilt will start to work (up or down) for about 3 seconds then quit. I then wait about 10 seconds and it will run for another second or two. If I don't wait long enough I just get a "click" from the tilt/trim, but no movement. Help, taking 5 minutes to tilt the motor is starting to get...
