i need to disconnect the shift rod under the carbs. there are 2 screws 1 a hex head from the side or a bolt on top which one to release the lower unit. <br /><br />thanks
i have followed the repair manual removed all bolts. the lower unit will drop about 2-3 inches, past exhaust area. what else could be keeping it being removed completely. The shift wires are loose but there is no pul on them.<br />engine is in great shape clean not much corrosion. help!!!!
