I can get the hydraulic control to raise the motor and lower it. The control for setting it in the transport position won't work.Any suggestions greatly appreciated... Also what do the blue and purple wires do that go to the motor itself ?
I have a 140 hp Merc with all the controls but there are some things disconnected. I have the battery connections and the cable to the control. Three wires come out to what I would think to be a fuse panel (panel not there). Can someone tell me which wire goes where from the motor control box ...
Just purchased a 69 Larson with a 1972 140 hp Mercury. The boat need some work, the gas tank is missing, I need help matching the tank to the motor. Will an off brand tank work, or what do I look for in a Mercury tank ?
