    Metal shavings

    I have metal shavings on the drain plug magnet in my lower unit. If I put some on my finger and rub my fingers together it feels more like wet powder than anything else. The quantity is about the head of a dull pencil after each oil change- I have to change it every 3 outings- darn OMC leaker...

    OMC 2.5L low RPM

    It appears low RPM is a popular subject on this forum. My OMC 2.5 IL4 was taken care of about as well as I've ever seen by the previuos owner. But, I can't seem to squeeze any more than 3500-3800 RPM's out of it. Also boggs just before throttle stop. Compression is excellent and timing is on...
