    Johnson Evinrude control box/cables interchange

    I have a pre 79 (76) johnson control box in like new condition and a set of new cables for a 91 Johnson V-4. Is there a kit to adapt the cables so they will fit the older model control box? Thanks, Capt. Tony

    I have several V-4 johnson and evinrude motors is there any way to tell what model year lower units will interchange? Most are mid 70's thru mid 90's. Thanks, Tony
