    7th hole outdrive gasket?

    Hello, I just put a alpha 1 gen 1 drive in place of the original mc1 drive which had 6 holes in the gasket, now the alpha 1 drive shows I need the 7 hole gasket. What is the 7th hole for? is the original 1977 mc1 gimble o.k. with no cavity matching the 7th hole can I use the 6 hole gasket?

    I have a mercruiser 1988 3.0 181ci l4 with some corroded parts, will parts from a 1985 140hp 181ci l4 motor be interchangable ie. monifolds, rocker covers, etc.

    kill switch help

    Hello, I'm in the middle of adjusting my shift cable's the lower is nice and smooth, but as I was testing the kill switch(S) I noticed the v-shaped one was'nt moving is there a spring or wire I missing? what forces movement? also another circle shaped sensor that works with reverse seems fine...
