Replacing factory prop on 2003 25 hp. Any suggestions for new prop? Are the aftermarket props that much better than the factory and will the performance change if I don't change prop pitch? Thanks.
The throttle gear slips when I fully twist the tiller handle on my 1969 Johnson 20 hp. It only slips off the last tooth.....the one that really matters and allows for full throttle. The teeth aren't broken and don't appear to be worn badly. There is some "slop" in the connection but not a lot...

Motor last ran a couple of months ago with no problems. Started this weekend and flywheel pin sheared. I replaced the flywheel pin but now the flywheel won?t fully rotate. It will turn about ? rotation and then it stops.
