Cylinder heads hot and cold

I was running my engine last evening on muffs for about 15 minutes or so. For some reason I decided to touch the cylinder heads. Standing at the prop, the two cylinders to port were warm, or hott even, the cylinders to starboard were still cool, however the plug wires felt a little warm. There...

    BOZO...I think I found a solution

I consulted a local Yammie dealre. As I was telling them the problem, I mentioned how I was running on fumes as this buzzer/light came on. They instructed me to replace the antisiphon valve on the tank, for it may have been gummed up with junk from the bottom of the fuel tank, and restricted gas...

On the tach, there are three indicator lights.
From left to right:
-red: with an empty circle in it
-orange: with what seems to be an oil can, so I assume this is a low oil indicator which has come on before when low on...

    WOT RPM......?????

    Cavitation Plate

I have a 115 Yamaha with which the corner of the cavitation plate has broken off. I've experienced no loss of performance, and it seems to get up on plane just fine as well as make easy turns at all speeds.

I was thinking of pruchasing a Hydrofoil. On my cavitation plate there were...

    Running Rich?

I have a 1986 115 Yamaha (oil injected) that I believe it to be running a bit rich. She smokes an aweful lot on idle, and for the most part, idles fine. But however, at times a bit rough. I've been using Yamaha approved oil. I have yet to pull the plugs, but I assume that would be a good start...

    cavitation

I have a '86 115 yamaha on the rear of a 19 bow rider. At WOT I'm in the range of 5300-5500 RPM. I'm also runnung a stainless 19pt prop. I know this is nearly maxed out. But should I expect added performance when trimming. I am able to trim very little before the prop begins to cavitate.
