    97 Force 120 Max RPM

    Max rpm shows 5250 but my force 120 does about 4800rpm. Do you think Carbs need a rebuild or re adjust the needles maybe?

    I just picked up my first boat with Force 120

    I just brought home a 97 Maxum with Force 120 on it. Now What should I check for? I will be running a compression test to make sure pistons are good.     Johnson 115 V4 Interchange

    I was wondering if I could use a 83 V4 115 on a 95 v4 115 lower unit. I am very new to outboard engines and still looking around for interchange information. If they are interchangeable, do I need to install it with all the controls or do you think just power head will work.
