    Have 1987 omc cobra 4.3l. Engine just replaced with upgrade 220 HP crate engine. 4.5 hours into running lost power began to run rough. Was able to idle back to ramp. Port ex haust header was dripping water. Pulled plugs on that side found water in 2 cylinders. No water contamination found...

    sudden loss of power

    I just purchased new 4.3 L 220 hp crate motor,omc cobra, Mechanic ask me to run 4-6 hours at varriable load and rpm. about 4 hours in to running was pulling tube and lost power. Seemed to have dropped a cylinder or 2. Could smell gas, although none visable. Shut down checked for leaks, plug...
