ive heard that a 4 blade 10"x7 pitch will get a bigger boat out on plane faster as well as having a better top speed.

right now ive got the stock 9.25x10. boat is lightweight 16' aluminum lone star.
they should be watertight just from the rivets right? or did some boats come from the factory with seam sealer applied?
