    evinrude/johnson prop interchangability?

    i have a 9.9 i have a 14' lightwieght boat that goes pretty good with the 10" pitch prop, i think it will pull a 12" if i can find one. from the i-boats site i see a 14 hp made in 1988-1989 has a 10" diameter and 12" pitch with a 13 spline shaft. is the shaft diameter the same? anyone...

    guess the weight of this boat

    1985 sea sprite 17' open bow, 85 hp outboard, v hull, fiberglass. cant find it online, sisters boat trying to figure out if mother's pacifica can tow it.(they are rated for 3500) trying to organise the whole family and all the boats for camp.

    johnyrude 9.9 props?

    ive heard that a 4 blade 10"x7 pitch will get a bigger boat out on plane faster as well as having a better top speed. anyone with actual expirience ??????????????? thanx. right now ive got the stock 9.25x10. boat is lightweight 16' aluminum lone star.

    do old aluminum boats REQUIRE seam sealer?

    they should be watertight just from the rivets right? or did some boats come from the factory with seam sealer applied? fixing up a boat that is my name.
