I tried removing the studs out of the bottom of the block on my 1969 Merc 1000, i tried double nutting them but they wouldnt budge, are there any tips/tricks to removing these studs
I have a 1969 Merc 1000, I am looking to convert this motor to a short shaft motor, I have the short shaft midsection from a 1972 Merc 650, would these parts simply swap out or are there other parts or options available to make this switch?
