    1959 10 HP Fuel Conversion #10081

    Is the bypass coverplate essential to the conversion?I also plugged the pressure line at the base of the motor.Motor will run great for about 2 min then dies.If i continue to pump the in line primer bulb it wont die.I installed a Sierra 18-7350 fuel pump.Any suggestions?

    1959 Evinrude Jubilee oil mixture ratio?

    I just purchased a 1959 Evinrude Fastwin Jubilee from a boat shop. Rebuilt carb, new impeller, fuel pump (to eliminate dual lines).Fresh oil in lower unit.My question is what is the oil/gas mix ratio?
