    lower unit gaskets

    Back again water in lower unit

    my engine model number is 50else71s .I asked this question a week or so ago but didn't get the answer. I know how the system works thanks to this forum.As on now i have dextron III fluid in the lower unit to clean the system i ran it on muffs for 30 min yesterday.Just haven't been to the store...

    was spraying a product called PB blaster tryin to loosen a broke off bolt well i soaked it really good noticed over spray going into cylinder and draining into the engine ...will that hurt anything when i get it back together and start it?

    1971 Johnson 50 HP head and shifter problem

    here is my model # 50else71s. I also own a 1986 johnson 40 hp VRO what parts if any are interchangable...the head on the 50 spark plug holes are stripped.. Just one of the problems . Is my motor Hydro-electric or electric...before it blew out the plug it was stuck in foward ..i have 3 wires...
