    My 2001 Evinrude 30 HP 4 stroke E30EL has gas in the oil. I changed the oil and the level went up beyond what I put in there and it smells of gasoline. What could cause this?

    I have a 2001 Evinrude 30 HP 4 stroke Model No: E30EL4SI that has water getting into the air intake for the carbs through an approximately 1/2" inner diameter hose that comes off the back of the engine next to the cap for adding oil. I don't know if this is a vent hose from the valve assembly...
