    can anyone explain

    over the years I have replaced gearcases on my outboards. the reasons vary from fishing line violating the seal, to hitting wood and bending the prop shaft.The power head has sensors for early detection of problems so why not the lower unit.

    Thanks for the lead Dhadley,spoke to T.J at 256 772 3829. The info is on the way,I find it hard to beleive that this sensor does what they claim,and I never heard about it. How did you know?

    Does anyone know of a sensor to monitor lower unit condition,I hate spending big $ for repairs.
