Just looking for a few tips on pulling skiers on our new boat,
We went from a Bayliner 175 with a 3.0 to a Sleekline with a 5.7 PCM V8.
4 blade prop.
Should i be using allot less throttle to pull out a skier an rely on the horsepower to do the work !!

How'd, just wondering if anyone can tell me how to get the seats out of my
2004 Bayliner 175 XT, they are the one's that fold in the middle to become a bed all be it not very comfortable.
I'm selling the boat and need to get one them repaired.

Hi just wondering if anyone has had the same problem. when we stop the engine 3.0 Mercruiser after skiing, she gets hard to start, is this a fuel problem and does anyone
have a fix for it.
The engine starts instantly when cool/cold and runs perfectly.

Hi i have a 2003 Bayliner 175XT with a 3.0L Mercruiser and a Alpha 1 stern drive.
I have to replace one of the hydraulic lines from the pump to the to the back of the motor where it passes through the assembly and out to the alloy block.
I was told I had to remove the motor, is this correct or...
How'd, i have just replaced both hubs and bearings and seals,
Took it for a test drive for about 100 kms.
My question is I noticed the hubs are now a little loose, would this be the bearings and bearings races all settling in and need a slight adjustment.

that's one way. I have just put new complete hubs on both side with new mags and new tyres.

Hi, just wondering if anyone can tell me how to adjust the free play out of my steering, it has about a 1/3 of a turn of steering wheel movement.
Is there an adjustment to reduce this.

Hi we have a Bayliner 175 (2003) with a 3.0 and a Alpha 1 drive.
It seems to be in good working order as far as it going up and down.
My question is when we pack the boat away for any length of time the drive slowly comes down more or less to the Trimmed down position. this time frame is over...
Just added our new custom made Bimini to our BR175.
nice little up grade and it works well.
IT was made by "Flatwater Covers". He did and excellent job and was only $600 AU including the mounting rings.
Hi people, just looking for suggestion on what could be causing my steering wheel to have about 1/4-1/3 free play before the boat actually turns.
It seems to be in the assembly to attaches to the out drive (Alpha 1)
Cables are all new, Steering wheel assembly is perfect.

Howdi people, I am looking for input on adding a second axle to my trailer.
It's a 'Karavan" trailer with a Bayliner 175 on it 3.0, Alpha1 I/O, Monster tower,
The extra axle is for a number of reasons, stability, safety (4 wheels is better than 2).

Hi If I'm running 2 Fusion amps (600watt and 300watt) would it be wise to add a second battery and upgrade my alternator.
We only plan on using it while boat is under way.
600 watt amp running 2 pair of 6" (75 watt speakers)
300 watt amp running a 12" sub.
