I've just bought an Yamaha 40fm (Serial No 6E9 L300100) 2 cylinder manual start outboard which needs a stop button wiring in. I'm told that the black wire on the stop button goes to earth and the white connects to a corresponding white wire on the engine coming off the CDI. The trouble is there...
