I recently purchased a 1987 9.9hp yamaha (9.9ELH). I am replacing the impeller and was trying to figure out where the water inlet is for the lower unit. There is a tube that runs from the impeller to a screw in the lower unit labeled "Wash" which I assume is for flushing. There are a couple...
The tiller twist throttle is has gotten hard to use. All of the teeth in the gears look pretty good but I have run into two problems.
1 - How do you get the shaft out the goes between the bend in the tiller arm and the gear inside the motor cover. I can't get the two gears inside the motor...
