Bias Ply versus Radial Ply Tires

I have a trailer for my sailboat, and I am intending to buy new tires/wheels this year. The current tires are passenger tires, over 20 years old, and I would like to buy real trailer tires. The trailer is used infrequently, perhaps twice in 3 or 4 years to transport the boat for maintenance...

Do Boats Really Float in Fresh Water?

Just a newbie, but I've heard that some boats will actually float and sail in fresh water. I can't imagine how that is possible, as it is difficult enough in the ocean.

I hope this info will be valuable to someone else. I rebuilt my powerhead a few years ago, and used the OEM service manual. That was pretty successful. Then recently I had to remove one of the exhaust cover bolts, to replace the kill switch ground wire lug. Replacing the bolt, I consulted the...

Info on NOS 4 HP Powerhead -- Corrected Part #

Hello to the group, I recently purchased a new old stock 4 hp powerhead, and I have some questions: The powerhead came with intake manifold, reedplate, head, and of course pistons and crakshaft, all assembled. There is no exhaust cover. Is this how these powerheads are typically supplied...
