    fuel pump related ???

    ran out to the lake saturday morning, motor just shut down.....would not start had to troll back to the launch..... I cannot hear the fuel pump running when the key is turned on..... ? how many fuel pumps are on this motor, it is a 97 225 EFI merc....:( Thanks in advance!!!!

    fuel pump??

    ran out to the lake the lake saturday morning and my boat shut down.....just quit running... would not start for nothing so we trolled back to the launch what a drag.... after further investigation it appears the fuel pump is not running when the key is turned on..I have had trouble with my kill...
