The diode in my fuel pump circuit has gone bad. i noticed that it was crimped in place with copper or brass coupling. it was also sealed with silicon.
Can anyone provide me with the correct procedure for installing a new diode?

I have the site with the shop manual for the gray motors, but my wiring to the 2 relays and fuel pump don't match the manual (7743244 for the fuel system or the system wiring 7743245).
Any suggestions/help on how to get the correct wiring diagram? My engine is a 4.3GLPEFS
