    Sylvan 14' Classic Fisherman

    I have a chance to buy a nice 1993 14' Classic Fisherman with a 25hp Yamaha. Any of you experienced Sylvan guys have any advice or opinions on this model. Things to look for / look out for etc. What would be a fair price (average) for this model. I appreciate your input.

    A fellow I know has a 14' deep V starcraft for sale, the title says that it is a 1968 however the boat looks like it's new. It's tight, no leaks. Forty years seems to me like a lot of years for an aluminum boat. Were these boats built better then? I would welcome some advice from those with...

    recoil start question

    I have a 9.9 (1998 I think), the start rope pulls out close to a foot before it engages. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be. Thanks
