    1960 evinrude fastwin 18hp water in lower unit

    I pulled the lower unit to check water impeller and found a couple of things wrong!! When draining the gear oil I found water in the oil. When I dropped the lower unit there is oil all in the area where the water impeller and water intake is at. The impeller looks good, but I am not for sure...

    1960 EVINRUDE FASTWIN 18HP WATER PUMP WORKING??? Model 15032

    Is there a way to check this? I had it replaced 4 years ago and it has sat for the last 2 without being started. Just fired it up and ran good, but seemed like lower unit and motor was hotter than I remember. I could just be paranoid!!! Took the cover off to check thermostat and to my surprise...

    Evinrude Fastwin 18HP age?

    How do i find out the age of my motor? it is an 18hp Evinrude Fastwin. it has the numbers 15032 03305 on a silver cap that resembles a freeze plug on the motor.
